Bio

Uldis has two decades of experience in software engineering and leadership as he is a skilled coach in Agile and DevOps practices. He has been leading 150+ DevOps, SRE and Cloud people for several years at Accenture, has spoken at world-class conferences, and consulted several clients on improving their ways of DevOps. Uldis is also a founder of a local Latvia DevOps & Agile Community and the DevOpsDays Riga conference. He is known for seeing beyond the data and offering insights others may miss, which makes him often the voice of reason in the room. While being a techie and agilist by his heart, the last 15 years he has spent learning group psychology, psychodrama, sociodrama, marketing, negotiations, acting, directing, etc. In his professional roles, he often experiments with everything that he has learned to improve team culture and together challenge the status quo.
