The annual Dutch VMUG UserCon is back in Den Bosch on March 26, 2024! For the second in a row, in 2022 the Dutch VMUG UserCon was the biggest in the world. 2024 is going to be bigger, better and bolder!
Last year, the main theme of the Dutch VMUG UserCon, was F1. This year, we are announcing our new theme, which is fully in line of the trends we have been seeing at VMware Explore in 2023: Artificial Intelligence!
AI has had an enormous impact on the market since platforms like ChatGPT, Dall-E, and many more have seen the daylight. Bringing this theme to the Dutch VMUG UserCon will make 1931 in Den Bosch the innovation capital of the world!
CFP Description
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE CFP DESCRIPTION BEFORE SUBMITTING A PAPER!
As a speaker, we would like to offer you the possibility to submit sessions in one of these tracks:
- Multi-cloud
- Security
- Modern Applications (including AI/ML)
- Digital Workspace
- Networking
- Personal Development
Your session could be in Dutch or English (please mention this in your paper, because we will also advertise this in the event app), and can be in one of the following categories:
Break-out sessions. These will take 45 minutes and are suitable for experienced speakers Lightning sessions. These will take 15 minutes and are suitable for less experienced speakers
Like every edition of the Dutch VMUG, we love to see interactive sessions, story telling, as many demos as possible, customer cases, deep dives, and basically everything that gives us a smile :)
Last year we were overwhelmed by the large number of session submissions. A lot more submissions than we could accept. To increase your chance of presenting at the event, try to be original with a catchy title and an attractive abstract. It will help you to get your session accepted, but also to get a full room :)
Other ideas that will increase your chance:
- Present something with a customer
- Join the stage with someone from VMware
- Explain in the abstract what you are going to show (including the demos)
One final thing before you submit your session. As the theme will be AI, we would like to invite you to use the same theme in your own session. Look for a creative way to use AI. It doesn’t have to be about Private AI, GenAI or LLMs. Using AI in the VMware portfolio (with NSX, Workspace ONE Intelligence, or vSAN) could be a great topic too!
