The Big Transaction is a technical conference catered to payments engineers who want to learn best practices, architecture, and pragmatic approaches to building payment systems.

The theme for The Big Transaction 2021 is Surviving Payments.

Building a payment system is no easy feat considering all the options available and ever-changing regulations. We will be delivering a series of talks focused on monitoring, testing, and architectural strategies to ensure you can sleep at night after shipping.

We want to hear how you’re building your payments system. How have you managed to wrangle the many complexities of payments? How do you keep it all under control? What can you share to help others who may be in the same situation?

Some examples:

• Strategies for testing and shipping changes confidently
• Architectural designs that weather the changes of payments
• Deep dives into monitoring and observability
• Building a stable and resilient payment system

How it works

You can submit multiple proposals and edit them within the CFP window. Original talks will take first preference. When the CFP closes, we will review each submission and decide which talks are a right fit for the theme of the conference.

Selected speakers will receive a free ticket to The Big Transaction 2021 along with a travel stipend.
