We are looking for unique speakers/performers with Ideas Worth Sharing. TEDxGrand Junction 2025 “Monumental” will highlight the celebration of big ideas, significant achievements, and impactful innovations that shape our community or the world in thoughtful ways. “Monumental” speakers will cover topics that are important milestones or represent extraordinary progress, like monumental achievements in technology, human rights, sustainability, education, or even creative endeavors that leave a lasting legacy. It’s about thinking beyond the ordinary and focusing on what is truly impactful and lasting.

The primary goal of a TEDx Talk is to communicate ideas worth spreading. Successful TEDxGrand Junction talks teach, entertain, make us think, make us laugh, cry or inspire action – all through the sharing of ideas.

In the past, speakers shared ideas about sustainable healthcare, election reform, giving away software, community suicide failures, film making. Performances have included artist demonstrations, spoken word artists, song writers and singers. Applicants should have something truly important or unique to share, and should be able to challenge the audience to find “Monumental” in a new way within 5-18 minute time block.

TEDxGrand Junction speakers are not paid. Speakers may not promote their own products, books, or businesses, or those of a company that employs them during their TEDxGrand Junction talk.
