Accelerate your network security with NSX using GenAI

By Marc van de Logt

Elevator Pitch

Malware and ransomware attacks occur every day in our world. Most organizations are not protected against these type of attacks. In this session, Marc van de Logt will show you the power of network security with NSX and which role GenAI can play in achieving a zero trust model.

Description

In this session you will learn how you can use the network security features in NSX to achieve a zero trust model for your organization. The last years VMware has integrated a lot of security features into NSX to mitigate attacks across the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and prevent advanced attacks from being executed into the datacenter. A lot of features like NSX Malware Detection, NSX Network Detection and Response (NDR) and NSX Intelligence are built on top of NSX Application Platform (NAPP). The next big thing is introducing the capabilities of GenAI to further simplify and enhance the network security in your network.

Marc will give a presentation around all capabilities, benefits and how to adopt these new and existing security technologies. I will end my session with a great demo of Project Cypress, a new solution which integrates generative AI with VMware NSX.

Notes

This is a technical session where a basic understanding of network and security is very useful. The session can be in Dutch or English depended on the audience and includes content on VMware NSX where I will present and show a couple of features from the security perspective of the product together with the new GenAI capabilities introduced with Project Cypress.

Marc is working as a Technical Architect for SDDC and Modern Applications at PQR. I like to put my energy on the stage of the vNS/vMA TechCon to contribute to the VMware community.
