Notes

This talk requires no special technical requirements.
I’m a computer scientist. I began my career writing compilers and operating systems. I led my team to deliver the first commercially available version of RPC. I’ve seen the difference it makes in employees’ careers to have an engaged leader, and to be part of an empowered team. And with teams dispersed from office to home, and from one city to another in a completely different time zone, the need for engaged leaders is even greater. I know how to reach an audience. To both inspire and entertain them. And I’m passionate about improving the careers of so many developers who suffer under “leaders” who are ill-equipped to lead. I want to make the world better for all those developers!
