About Me

I am a Computer Science student with a focus on Cybersecurity, currently serving as a Cybersecurity Development Intern at Jacaranda Health. I hold an eJPT certification and have a strong background in Scripting and Penetration Testing. I am also a GDSC Lead in Cybersecurity and a Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador.

  • Policy Documentation: Provided grassroots documentation for policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines, setting the foundation for organizational cybersecurity.
  • Application & Service Evaluation: Conducted research and evaluations for the IT security team, creating feature matrices for different applications and services.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Responsible for first-level compliance monitoring and investigations, ensuring adherence to security policies.
  • Forensics Analysis: Assisted with the work of forensics analysis by preparing an Incidence Response Plan
  • Vulnerability Assessments & Penetration Testing: Assisted in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on specific applications, services, networks, and servers.
  • MSSP Solution: Assisted the IT security team with the design, deployment, and maintenance of a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) solution.

  • Incident Tracking: Recorded and tracked security incidents.

  • iLabAfrica: Served as a CSA Fellow, where I completed over 10 reports as part of a larger IOT app penetration test and taught classes in Active Directory and Scripting for Security.
  • Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology: Interned in a Wi-fi expansion project, acquiring skills in Network Cabling, Router and Switch Configuration, and Unix and Linux Operating Systems.
