Neil is an independent contractor, and has been working in the field of databases since 1988, initially with IMS DB/DC and DL/1 (which are a bit like NoSQL) on IBM Mainframes and with Oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server over the last 25 years. He is also familiar with Operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and has done his fair share of coding in languages such as Cobol, 360 Assembler, Shell script, PL/SQL and Python.
