Description
This is a quick overview talk/demo of how child themes in WordPress work. It will give intermediate developers an insight into what Child Themes are and some of the best practices and functions inside of the core WordPress code to help get a usable theme. I will be showing sample code of things such as adding items to the customizer as well as other functions to help with the development.
