Bio
My name is Cihat Gündüz (Cihat reads like “Jeehut” or ジハット). 👋 A true Harry Potter fan and Japan lover bringing passion to technology! 🧙♂️🇯🇵
I’m a Spatial-first Indie Developer for Apple Platforms from 🇩🇪 Germany, and I’ve been doing iOS development since 2011. I contribute to our awesome community by creating Open Source Tools like BartyCrouch, HandySwiftUI, ReviewKit, LinksKit, and by helping out in existing projects like SwiftLint, SwiftGen, and Moya.
Since 2022 I write the Swift Evolution Monthly newsletter where I summarize the newest developments in the Swift language for thousands of free subscribers. Since 2023 I’m the organizer of the WWDC Notes community project.
I share my learnings regularly on 🐦 Twitter (X), on 🦋 Bluesky, and 🦣 Mastodon. Follow me there for development tips & contact me to discuss anything.
