Chris’s first computer was a Commodore 64 but he didn’t realize the true power of computers until he discovered he could create his own Doom levels. While he still enjoys computer games his focus has shifted to helping others ship secure high quality code software via Saturday Morning Productions (https://saturdaymp.com/).
Chris enjoys discussing software development so much that he started and hosts the Weekly Dev Chat (http://weeklydevchat.com/) every Tuesday. He also co-hosts the Legacy Code Rocks Virtual Meetup (https://www.legacycode.rocks/) every Wednesday. Everyone and anyone, including you, is welcome to join either as long as you are kind, supportive, and respectful of others.
Tired of writing about himself in the third person I’m switching to the first person. While I’m honored to be presenting, my hope is to learn more than I impart. The best part of any conference is discussing software development with fellow attendees in hallways or over tables filled with food and drinks. I look forward to meeting fellow Prairie Devs and fighting over what city has the worst winter in-between discussing software development.
