Bio
Geoffrey Teale (tealeg) is a distinguished engineer - at least in the sense that people euphemistically say “distinguished” when they mean “no longer handsome”. He has been programming since his parents bought a Sinclair Spectrum 48k in 1983. He’s been a software professional since 1998 and is now Head of Developer eXperience at Upvest. He’s been a Go programmer since the day it was publicly announced, has some 23 years of Python experience and so many years tinkering with Linux, C, Bash and Lisp(s) that he’s lost count and would really rather you got off his lawn and stopped pestering him.
Geoffrey Teale is not as grumpy as he likes to pretend to be.
