Hi, I’m Maki Kato. I’m a 20+ year veteran in the web space building and hosting web sites and web applications. I love to learn and have been forever curious about how computers work and how to program them to do interesting things. At my day job as CTO, I oversee technical matters at Matrix Group, a DC area Digital Agency. Prior to that, I worked on tickets.amtrak.com, I was head of R&D at The Motley Fool, I worked on a benefit system at Lockheed Martin, and I was a consultant for IBM. In my spare time, I rock climb, tree climb and tinker with various hardware/software projects.
