Mike Straw has the best job title ever created. He’s a Happiness Engineer for Automattic, providing technical support for the WordPress.com suite of products, with a recent side hustle working with WooCommerce.
Mike started developing for the web in 1995 using Notepad while working as an Air Force Computer Programmer. He’s been in love with web stuff ever since. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked for Ohio University for 4 years, then landed the best job in the world at Automattic.
During his spare time, Mike is engaged in his other passion as a roller derby referee, where he goes by Stray Taco.
