John Baldwin holds a BS in computer science with over 20 years of industry experience including developing data systems and decision tools on government projects for the DoD, FAA, and NOAA as well as several years of web development. - Lead team developing weather risk analytics data SaaS for lightning and hail damage
- Served as Atmospheric and Environmental Research (AER) deputy chief software engineer on the NOAA GOES-R (weather satellite) ground segment algorihm development to create data driven weather product
- Performed operationalization for remote sensing/weather based algorithms
- Implemented data verification and validation for the FAA ETMS 56-day background data generation
