Less than five years ago Cody was working as a plant operator at a clay mine in the high desert of California. Bat country. Today he is working as an Application Security engineer at Signal Sciences a NGWAF/RASP company headquartered in Culver City, CA. He spends the majority of his working days disposing of python syntax in favor of golang. His hobbies consist almost entirely of internet rabbit holes in the land of application security. He quit his job in mining to attend a programming bootcamp only to get kicked out within three months. Eventually finding shelter at Whitehat Security he has worked almost exclusively in application security at companies ranging from vendors to media.
