Notes
I was really lucky when I entered management - I had few preconceptions (read: no idea what I was doing) but a wealth of information and support around me. This helped me avoid a whole bunch of common failure modes and misunderstandings that I still see perpetrated in supposedly modern and forward-thinking companies to this day.
In terms of requirements, I need nothing more than a microphone, though slide projection would be highly useful too!
