What is a Tenet?
If you google for “Tenet” you’ll get the 2020 movie with John David Washington. But in our case, “Tenet” is a principle or belief, especially one of the main principles of a religion or philosophy. PHP Development is full of Philosophies - SOLID, DRY, PSR, Code style, TTD all are Tenets or philosophies with which we live with with day to day in the codebases that we work with.
But what about our personal lives - do we have Tenets there? I know I do. Lets investigate what it means to me to have Personal Tenets, how they’ve helped me to be a better developer and how having your own Tenets could help you too.
