Elevator Pitch

What’s New in the Enhanced vSphere Replication that comes with VCF 9.0 and VMware Live Recovery (VLR). Automating configuring and reconfiguring replications using REST APIs and PowerCLI. Demos and walk-through of real code samples.

Description

VMware vSphere Replication™ is a host-based, asynchronous replication of virtual machines (VMs) developed by VMware by Broadcom. It’s also a replication engine for VMware Live Site Recovery, former Site Recovery Manager (SRM). Recently, vSphere Replication has been re-architected and now it supports automated load balancing which distributes replicated VMs across resources for optimal performance, allocating the replications on all available hosts in the target cluster. Re-balancing of the workload occurs automatically. In this session I will deep dive more in the new architecture of the “Enhanced vSphere Replication” and demo automating configuring and reconfiguring to Enhanced replications using REST APIs and PowerCLI
