Hello, I’m Muhammad Usman Bashir, but you might know me as ‘Mr. WebRTC’. My journey with WebRTC isn’t just a career; it’s a calling that started in 2018. Beyond my technical role at Younite as a founding member and head of backend and infrastructure, I’ve dedicated countless hours to my startup, forging a new path in real-time multiplayer gaming.
Why do I want people to know me? Because behind every line of code is a desire to connect, to share, and to create a collective experience that transcends physical boundaries. From consulting with over a hundred organizations to securing a U.S. patent, every step has been about pushing us closer to a world where communication is instant and inclusive.
And while I may not follow One Direction, I do have a direction—towards innovation, community, and the human moments that technology can amplify. At JanusCon 2024, I’m excited to share not just my work, but the stories, the challenges, and the triumphs that have shaped it.
