Bio
Bandhan (pronounced bun-done) is a back-end software engineer, Google Women Tech Makers Ambassador, Change Collective’s inaugural cohort member, diversity advocate with DEI Committee for her university’s college of engineering, City Lead Coordinator for Venture For America Detroit, and an ex-volunteer AP computer science teacher for Microsoft TEALS. Bandhan has been coding for the last 10 years, loves building code using several languages and learning new tech while sharing her code processes via Medium articles. Growing up as a woman of color studying computer science, her aim is to break barriers on women in STEM through the new web design program for 8th grade brown and brown girls in Detroit Public Schools.
