Are you a lover of all things reliability? Removing toil by day, incident responder at night? Blameless at heart? Always striving for 5 9s? Do you have error budget left to run chaos experiments on your systems? Do these questions make sense to you or are you willing to learn about them? If yes - this is the meetup group for you because here we share our SRE experiences and war stories.
CFP Description
Hey you! Thanks for your (potential) interest in submitting a talk for one of our Site Reliability Engineering NL meetup events! We want to hear all about your views and experiences with anything reliability, ranging from observability, incident response and reviews, releases, chaos engineering, scalability, performance engineering or cultural change, etc. in a the form of a talk, ranging from 5 to 25 minutes (i.e. lightning or full length) + time for Q&A.
We are truly interested in an even wider range of topics than those listed above and are open to experienced as well as new presenters. There’s no minimum amount of experience you need to share your story at one of our events. We can help with your submission and/or talk, just reach out to us
We’re looking for speakers from all backgrounds and walks of life. If you’d like to speak, but have doubts or need help, please reach out and we’ll do our best!
The only thing we don’t like as much are sales pitches done by vendors. If you’re a vendor who would like to share their story, we welcome you, but please do not only talk about your product but touch upon a use case with a client and ensure your talk is relevant for those who cannot use or buy your product/service.
Submit as many proposals as you like, but ensure to give us enough details to understand what your time will be filled with and what people will learn from it in the Notes section. More than one speaker? That’s fine, make sure you add them to the proposal!.
By submitting, you agree to abide by our Code of Conduct. Finally, only submissions for in-person talks will be accepted.
