期待される話題について

RustTokyo は Rust に関するイベントです。Rust に関するテーマ、または Rust に関心のある方が興味を持ちそうなテーマなら、 どんなものでもご応募いただけます。 プログラミングに関するもの、開発に関する取り組みといった内容はもちろん、Rust を利用することの社会的な意義や経営上のインパクトといった非技術的なテーマも歓迎します。

• 20分 + 5 分の質疑応答です

採否を決定方法について

• バイアスを避けるため、講演者情報を隠した状態で審査します。
• 主催者の投票によって決定します

ガイドライン

• 締め切り：2021/07/31 23:59 (JST)
• 講演時間は 20 分です。5 分の質疑応答があります。
• 長すぎるものもマイナスとなります。2 段落以上読んでも講演の主旨に辿りつかなかった場合、より短くしていただくようお願いすることもあります。 講演申し込みの数が多くなることも想定されますので、早く要旨が掴めるものが高評価となります。
• 誤字や書式の間違い、適切に段落分けされていない講演概要や、全て小文字で記述された英文での講演申し込みなどは、採否においてマイナスに働きます。お気をつけください。

オリジナルテーマであること

• コミュニティの知見を深めることが Rust.Tokyo 開催の主目的の 1 つです。同じテーマでの講演が繰り返される場合、この目的に合致しているとは言えません。 そのため、新しいテーマ、オリジナルなテーマを応募してください。もし以前に他の場所で講演した内容について議論されたい場合は、 新しい内容を追加してください。新しいリサーチの結果、開発した結果といった内容の例となります。

登壇方法

• 事前収録、もしくはライブでの公演、好きな方を選べます
• 事前収録された場合でも、質疑応答はライブでおこないます。

事前収録について

• 事前収録は次の２方式をサポートする予定です：
  • ご自身で収録いただいたき、収録いただいたファイルを運営スタッフに共有いただく方式
  • 運営スタッフのサポートのもと、収録を進める形式
• 前者の場合、原則として共有いただいたファイルをそのまま放送します。講演時間を大きく超過している場合、調整をお願いすることもあります。
• 後者の場合は、基本的に収録したものをそのまま放送します。編集は行えませんので、ご注意ください。

講演のアーカイブについて

• 全ての講演はアーカイブされます
• アーカイブされた講演が一般に公開されることはありません
• しかし講演者が希望すれば、その講演者の講演アーカイブを一般公開します。
• 講演者に対して、自身の講演アーカイブを共有することも可能です。
• スライドの所有権は講演者が保持しています。 クリエイティブコモンズ、もしく他のオープンソースライセンスで公開していただければ幸いです。

Topics

RustTokyo is an event about Rust, and we welcome submissions on any topic related to Rust or that might be of interest to those interested in Rust. We welcome topics related to programming, development efforts, as well as the social aspects of Rust programming.

Sessions

• 20 minutes + 5 minutes for Q&A.

How to decide the acceptance or rejection

• Decision will be made by the organizer’s vote.

Guidelines

• Deadlines: 2021/07/31 23:59 (JST)
• Please be aware that typos, formatting errors, and all lowercase letters will negatively affect the acceptance or rejection of your presentation. Please be careful.
• If you are unable to get to the main idea of your presentation after reading more than two paragraphs, we may ask you to make it shorter. Since we expect a large number of applications for presentations, we will give high marks to those whose abstracts can be grasped quickly.

Must be an original theme.

• One of the main purposes of Rust.Tokyo is to deepen the knowledge of the community. Tokyo is to deepen the knowledge of the community, and repeated talks on the same topic do not meet this goal. Therefore, please submit a new and original theme. If you would like to discuss something that has been presented elsewhere before, please add new content. For example, the results of new research or development.

How to speak.

• Pre-recorded or live, whichever you prefer.

About archiving

• It will be archived.
• It will be archived, but will not be open to the public.
• We will make the archive available to the public or share the video at the request of the speaker.
• The speaker retains ownership of the slides, but we would appreciate it if you would release them under a Creative Commons or other open source license.
