The Research Triangle PowerShell User Group is thrilled to announce the return of PowerShell Saturday!

After a brief hiatus, we’re back and better than ever, ready to dive deep into the world of PowerShell. This year’s event will take place in October.

PowerShell Saturday is a one-day conference dedicated to all things PowerShell. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a newcomer to the field, this event promises a full day of learning, networking, and inspiration. We welcome speakers of all skill levels, offering a fantastic opportunity to present your insights to an engaged audience. If you have a passion for PowerShell and an interesting topic to share, we want to hear from you!

Our conference stands out for its community-driven focus. We prioritize delivering high-quality content to our attendees, with minimal vendor advertising. Each session will host no more than 50-60 attendees, fostering an intimate and interactive learning environment.

The Raleigh-Durham area is a hub for IT professionals and technology companies, and we anticipate a large turnout for this event. Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity to connect with fellow PowerShell enthusiasts and experts in the field.

Join us this October for PowerShell Saturday and be part of our vibrant, growing community. We can’t wait to see you there!

CFP Description

Are you excited about PowerShell and want to share your knowledge with your peers? Great! PowerShell Saturday NC is the place for you!!

Our group is known for delivering great content as well as being super friendly and welcoming all members of all skill levels. We are looking to reproduce the small community feel of our meetings in the full day setting of this conference. Our speakers love us because we put a lot of effort into helping speakers do the best they can to be successful.

All Topics should have PowerShell as the primary focus

Some tips for topic submissions:

Topics should be focused on a specific area or problem solution. (ie How to search event logs with PowerShell effectively)

Talks should show people the value that the topic has to offer (ie Why you should be using Pester for testing your code)

Talks should teach people about a particular subject or expose new and interesting facets of PowerShell that may not be well known. (ie Getting Started with Just Enough Administration)

The audience is a mix of beginner, intermediate and advanced PowerShell users spread across many different areas of IT. Talks should be more code and demo driven then slides. It is certainly ok to use slides, but we would prefer to have as much live demo material and interactions between speakers and participants as possible. Recorded video is also acceptable as backups to live demos.

You should expect to present to a maximum of 50 people per room. All rooms will have video screens to assist with presentations. You must bring your own laptop for the presentation. We will provide information on what adaptors might be needed to successfully connect to classroom projection systems.
