PyCon Zim is an annual technology conference dedicated to the Python programming language, related technologies, and their use. The conference typically offers a wide range of discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions covering various aspects of Python development, including web development, data science, machine learning, automation, and more.
Our speakers may consist of local experts and international guests, providing attendees with valuable insights and perspectives. In addition to technical sessions, PyCon Zimbabwe includes activities such as lightning talks, panel discussions, and workshops, fostering community and collaboration among participants.
PyCon Zimbabwe is excited to invite you to submit your proposals for our upcoming conference taking place October 31st - November 2nd, 2024.
We’re looking for passionate Python enthusiasts to share their knowledge and experiences with our diverse community. Whether you’re a seasoned developer or just starting, we welcome proposals on a wide range of topics and skill levels.
CFP Description
We are encouraging everyone who would like to speak at PyConZim to submit a proposal. All we want is the proposal to be of interest to a group of Python developers. Our talks slot will be 30 minutes long including time for questions and answers, whilst workshops will be +3 hours long.
We are also encouraging first time speakers to submit their proposals.
The Python community in Zimbabwe is a growing community with an audience of diverse Python experience, from beginners to expert developers. We are therefore looking for talks that will benefit our diverse audience. This means we welcome proposals suitable for beginners, people with somewhat knowledge of Python, very good programmers and expert programmers. This year, we’re focusing on several exciting tracks to provide a focused learning experience:
