We are so excited to have you speak at PyCon Uganda 2024 ! We welcome presentations on disparate topics on Python.
Presentation Format
Presentation content can be at a novice, intermediate or advanced level. Talks will have two possible lengths, either 30 or 45 minutes while hands-on tutorials and workshops will last 90 minutes. We require all speakers to deliver their presentations in person at the conference venue. We will replace any speakers who do not show up in-person with another speaker on a waiting list to give the expected experience to our attendees.
Talks: These are the traditional talk sessions given during the main conference days through 9th October - 13th October. PyCon Uganda is dedicated to featuring a diverse and inclusive mix of speakers in the lineup.
Tutorials: Standard presentations on a specific technical topic or case study. These sessions may include demonstrations, code samples, or data analyses.
Workshop: Workshops provide hands-on learning experiences on specific tools, technologies, or methodologies. Participants actively engage in practical exercises.
Successful submissions will be rewarded with a complimentary conference ticket. Please note that we are unable to cover travel expenses for accepted speakers. We will have a dinner and special networking sessions for our speakers to interact as our way of appreciation.
