Accepting Submissions
(ISC)² Oklahoma City Metro Chapter was founded to connect, educate, and inspire information security professionals throughout the Oklahoma City metropolitan area in an effort to build fellowship and better secure the community at large. We hold monthly meetings where we invite security professionals, students, members, and non-members to speak on a topic of interest.
A networking luncheon is usually held following the meeting, although depending on time constraints may sometimes be served during the meeting for special events.
CFP Description
(ISC)² Oklahoma City Metro Chapter is holding an open call for papers to be presented at our monthly meetings. Please note that these talks are to be vendor neutral and we don’t allow sales presentations (or thinly vailed “sales presentations”). Our members are looking for substantive talks about core or trending topics in Cybersecurity. Bring something fun, interesting, and new and you will be a crowd favorite.
Successful submissions will come from individuals passionate about their subject material and that can provide substance to the membership. Ideally, listeners will walk away with something they can put to use immediately in their daily security practices; whether that is a tool, instructions to perform a given process, or simply a thought provoking idea.
