Why Garden of Now?
Smartphones. Smartwatches. Social Media. IoT devices. Artificial Intelligence. Automation. All the technology developed in the last decades is changing our world at enormous scales and at a crazy-fast pace. One big chunk of that is our human elements that are changed & constantly changing due to technology advancements: the health of our body & brain, our social relationships, work habits, the way we make decisions based on the information we have, etc.
What is Garden of Now?
Having these in mind, Garden of Now is creating a harmonious setup where technologists, technophobes, entrepreneurs, creative people, artists, humans in general, can explore how technology is shaping humans & how we, as humans, can develop & adapt to technology in the future.
Garden of Now aims to be a unique type of event and one of the most genuinely inspiring and attractive happenings in Europe that delivers CHANGE by focusing on the main driving forces in technology that are shaping our human nature & our humanity’s future as well. Participants will have the chance to not only hear from top-notch experts how these driving forces work but also can experience & learn all of that through different practical sessions & different micro experiences incorporated into our event.
Garden of Now is an independent event emerged from different communities like media, startups, tech & design. It is founded by Raluca Gavriloae, Eugen Busoiu, Tudor Gandu & Florin Apetrei that all have different backgrounds in media, marketing, AI, development, human resources & design. Garden of Now it’s wisely curated, thoughtfully planned, intentionally different and it’s a unique chance to learn, reflect & think about new ideas.
We think Garden of Now’s agenda is addressed to any human :) that has any kind of interaction with the technology.
The event will take place on Friday, Saturday & Sunday between 12th-14th of June 2020, in very unique places where we’ll have the time & space to experience 2 and half days of talks, workshops, live gigs, micro experiences & many more.
