The WHackzCon 2020 CFP Committee

Submissions

Please be as detailed as possible in your submissions in order for the review committee to properly evaluate your talk. If a detailed outline is available, please include it. Reviewers will mainly focus on the “Description” of the abstract. Do mention If there are any hands on demos (live or recorded), what the audience can actually can expect to have covered in the talk, and what attendees will be able take away from the talk.

Workshops will primarily be held on Sunday June 7th, 2020. We are currently only accepting submissions for a maximum of 3 hour training classes.

This CFP will be blind, so please do not include any biographical or identifying information in your proposal itself or the notes section. The speaker bio, email address, and social media information will be hidden from reviewers in order to facilitate a fair review of all submissions.

The WHackzCon 2020 CFP Committee will also hand select a small percentage of speakers, however, the greater majority will be selected via the blind CFP process. We feel this gives us the best opportunity to give voice to people looking to give their first talk while also bringing seasoned professionals to the stage. Speakers will be notified not later than 1 week after CFP closing date.
